The Ophthalmology Network is really what it says. It's an opportunity not only for senior leaders in the field of retina, but also the younger crowd. I'm so glad to be part of it, and I think it will offer so much to foster communication, advance research, and improve the clinical management of patients with blinding retina disease.
I think it's a very good initiative to connect ophthalmologists from all over the world. Also, what I like about this initiative is that the patient voice is included and that we collaborate with patient associations. I think it's really important to join forces to improve our practice.
I joined the network because it is an opportunity for me to mentor the next generation of retina specialists.
