Mircera (methoxy polyethylene glycol epoetin beta)

Mircera contains the active substance methoxy polyethylene glycol epoetin beta, and is a medicine that stimulates the growth of red blood cells. It is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in adult patients. It is given by subcutaneous or intravenous injections, using a pre-filled syringe.
