Bernd’s passion for technology continues as he creates technological solutions both in and outside his home. He has embraced the collaborative approach of engineering and is as eager to learn as ever.
Bernd is living with Alzheimer’s disease. He was an engineer for data transmission systems, and he has continued this love for all things digital despite his diagnosis. Now he creates inventions to help make everyday objects more automatic: he even helps to fix the WiFi when it crashes. He keeps active, both his body and brain, by running and trying new things, increasing his collaboration with people.
