Born in Montreal in 1984, Samy Moussa is a composer and conductor working as Music Director of the INDEX Ensemble in Munich, Germany. Known for his energetic, powerful and inspirational style, Samy is a prize-winning composer who graduated from Université de Montréal, Canada, studying with José Evangelista. Additionally, Samy has studied composing and conducting under the supervision of several internationally renowned conductors including Paolo Bellomia in the Czech Republic, Magnus Lindberg in Finland, Matthias Pintscher and Pascal Dusapin in Germany, and Salvatore Sciarrino.
