(Sr) Product Manager - Data Service & WPA

In this role you are a member of our global Business Intelligence & Intelligent Search team. We are providing global end-to-end Information Insight Services and our accountability includes, among others, provisioning of innovative platforms for Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics and Workplace Automation. You are the representative and primary point of contact for users and IT partners in China for Data & Workplace Automation services.

In this role you drive activities for our main service areas: Data Management, Data Insights, Data Platforms and Tools as well as Workplace Automation.
The Product managers responsible for the service view of the group of services referred to as the service area. He or she leads initiatives or change implementations to introduce new capabilities where the complexity requires considering the whole service area. The role holder acts as the main contact for the service area by managing consumer and stakeholder experience and satisfaction. An important part is to seek opportunities for continuous improvement. The Product manager is designing and implementing a vision for the service area together with Integrated Service Owner, including positioning of dependent services and defining business value proposition for the area. The Product Manager represents the Service Area in front of local and regional enterprise stakeholders as well as on a global level
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Stakeholder engagement
Ensure partner success in building and launching solutions for data services and workplace automation
Act as a trusted partner to customers, providing high-class conceptual, analytical and coordinate work across the Workplace Automation portfolio.
Providing vision and direction to the offshore and/or onshore development team and stakeholders throughout the project engagement including defining requirements.
Educate partners on the value proposition of our services and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment
Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many sessions to bring appropriate knowledge about our service offering to our China IT partners considering or already using Data Services or Workplace Automation Services
Create and share best-practice knowledge with IT partners
Build deep relationships with internal stakeholders to enable them to be cloud advocates
Act as a technical liaison between partners, service engineering teams and support
Managing consumer and stakeholder experience and satisfaction with the service while appropriate focusing on cost efficiency
Defining service marketing/communications to consumers to drive appropriate use of the service
Tracking service utilization and cost to ensure BI&IS (GIS) is doing the most with our resources
Ensuring meaningful qualitative & quantitative KPIs are in place and are managed
Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement across all components that comprise the service
Creating and maintaining trust and mutual understanding
Determine the value of the service
Demonstrated excellence in product/service management and customer relationship/account management.
Architecture Oversight
Plan and supervise the organisational adoption of Data Services and Workplace Automation services henceforward, oversee governance, change management processes and release coordination together with nearshore service provider
Lead in the definition, documentation, implementation and continuous updates of standards, methods, procedures and best practices
Co-create IT architecture concepts on all levels
Review and assess IT solution architecture of projects for impact analysis
Ability to understand global/local solutions & dependencies to our Data & Workplace Automation service roadmaps and feed this back to Global Data & Workplace Automation Integrated Service Owners & propose a fit for purpose solution to stakeholders. Eg. where global solutions compliments or potential gaps exist to global solution offering.

Who you are
For this position you bring the following qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience in computer science, software engineering or mathematics
7+ years experience in Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, building complex architectures and solutions, ideally SaaS in the cloud preferably with AWS China or Ali Cloud.
Design and oversee implementation of SaaS solutions and end to end processes that are closely coupled with business requirements
Very good knowledge of one or more Digital Process Automation Platforms, preferably K2 and/or Outsystems or similar. In addition you have experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and ChatBots in combination with AI/ ML.
Define technology roadmaps derived from the long terms business strategy
Align new technology options with business needs and communicate with senior stakeholders about successful adoption strategies
Understand stakeholder challenges and proactively design solutions to meet them
Actively communicate and explain the technology roadmap and portfolio with our partners and integrate their feedback
Keep a close connection with our stakeholders and see yourself in the role of a customer success manager
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product/service throughout its lifecycle
Requirements Analysis, Planning, and Strategy development.
Skilled at working effectively within cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
Profound skills in defining hybrid infrastructure environments and a proven track record of cloud service integration are a strong plus
You come with a solid IT platform lifecycle background so that you can easily collaborate with off-shore, near-shore and cloud providers
A proficient understanding of Computer Systems Validation and working experience in a validated environment and experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills complete your profile
Self-confidence and experience in a consulting, client-facing role.
Prior experience working with security, legal, data privacy governance of cloud based tools within an enterprise is desirable.
Fluent English speaking and writing.
