You will be responsible for:

  • Overall Sales Management in the assigned area and ensuring to achieve the sales target company set for the assigned sales territory within sales expense budget pre-set by line manager.
  • Leading and motivating sales team to achieve or exceed overall team sales objective within expense budget pre-set by line manager through objective goal setting and resource allocation.
  • Submiting regular sales reports to line manager in format and contents as agreed by Company. Performing the role of regular market and competitive information provider for sales and marketing decisions 
  • Actively managing sales performance on monthly basis. Conducting continuous performance evaluation for team members to identify performance gaps and to enhance product knowledge and selling skills eventually to improve team performance 
  • Providing realistic rolling sales forecast on a monthly basis and assisting line manager to prepare annual budget at year-end
  • Providing coaching to responsible team members in the field. Leading the team effectively by systematic planning on coaching and development activities, realizes people development 
  • Actively maintaining expense tracking system
  • Developing team members in order to support the rapid business growth and liaise with marketing/region to provide basic product training to new-hires.
  • Building and maintaining good relations with key decision, ensures overall customer satisfaction.
  • Working closely with Marketing Department for implementation of national programs and activities.
  • Assisting in the appointment of distributors and cooperating with Supply Chain to ensure sufficient inventory holding and coverage 
  • Possessing basic marketing concepts and providing regular analysis and inputs to Company on strategic issues like growth opportunities and threats. 
  • Ensuring supervisors are exercising coaching and people development activities and receives systematic regular feedback.
  • Developing actively good rapport from key customers, including procurement offices in scientific management officials.
  • Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager
  • Conducting business in full compliance including but not limited to Roche Secure, Roche Behavior in Business, Roche Competition Law Interactive Dialogues, Roche Safety, Security Health and Environmental Protection  
  • Understanding and fulfilling the responsibility of line manager's SHE tasks and duties (as defined in SHE handbook)

You should have:

  • At least Master Degree in appropriate Life Science or Marketing discipline or equivalent. 
  • Good command of English in both spoken and written 
  • Good command of MS office software application 
  • Product & Application Expertise 
  • 10 years’ experience in Sales and /or similar experience in the industry
