The IT Business Partner (ITBP) drives business opportunities enabled by information and technology. They are the strategic interface for the purpose of business technology and strategy development, risk management and relationship management for the ultimate benefit of patients. 
What you’ll be working on
You partner with business stakeholders, co-create technology-enabled business strategies through Collaboration-Pods (or C-Pod) and align with overall Org Unit and Network level Themes and Epics
Provide strategic direction, prioritisation, mobilisation of resources aligned to shared business objectives with respective areas
Actively participate in strategy setting meetings in PIIX and APAC Network and across informatics
Support Quarterly Business Reviews and be accountable for the Product Portfolio
Take leadership role that educates, advises and challenges to enrich business area strategy for the benefit of the whole
Negotiate and influence to ensure the right product managers and product owners are assigned to key initiatives
Identify business opportunities and work with business and informatics partners to architect, design, prototype and deliver continually improved products

Additional specific localised expectations
Collect, understand, justify and prioritise IT initiatives & investment based on business needs/strategy across responsible functions or Network Level Themes. Prioritise Change Requests to existing solution portfolio.
Collaborate with other ITBP, Solution Functions, Projects and Programmes to prioritise, balance and orchestrate IT initiatives and/or changes.
Lead and facilitate the discussion with business and IT solution functions on exploring best-fit technology to meet the business demand, both short term and mid-long term.
Creates business value by monitoring internal and external trends to offer innovative approaches, ecosystem partners and technology solutions. Leads experimentation and POCs.
Oversees excellence of solution delivery, project governance and related organisational change management. Be the translator to reconcile the communication between business and technical team.
Collaborates with senior business leaders to resolve business challenges by facilitation, innovation and participation. Be the escalation point to proceed with the complaint from business
Proactively shares their acumen and knowledge to encourage and motivate IT teams as well as business users. Acts as a mentor and coach to contribute to IT organisation capabilities development within or outside of PIIX. Acts as a mentor and advisor to business community to embrace changes and innovation leveraging technology.
Leverages Pharma Informatics unique view across the company and functions to draw relevant groups together, with the aim of lasering in on customer centricity, accelerating decisions and optimised solutions.
