Europe Business Development Director (Viewics Analytics)

Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, the Senior Manager/Director of Business Development role will be the sales leader responsible for the sale of Viewics’ suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) analytics solutions within the European market and achieving solid financial results to the company. This individual is expected to develop sales strategies, direct and manage the European Business Development team and achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the sales pipeline and forecast to achieve sales objectives and revenue goals
- Work with management team to develop and implement go-to-market strategy and tactics
- Develop and drive country-specific commercialization strategies
- Hire, manage and enable a highly experience team of business development professionals
- Confidently and credibly present product solutions, product presentations, demonstrations, conference calls, technical discussions/due diligence, executive discussions, web seminars and related sales activities
- Directly manage large, high-profile customer/prospect accounts on a national level
- Provide feedback on new product demands and geographical opportunities through market feedback and analysis
- Identify and engage IT and security resources across the organization which can assist in the sales process
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all Viewics products and offerings
- Stay abreast with trends in healthcare and industry practices
Skills
- Fluency in English
- Familiar with the healthcare IT ecosystem and industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Must be self-directed with strong initiative and creativity
- Strong team spirit to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized and rigorous to follow the sales process in place in the organization and to manage several projects
- Enthusiastic and reactive, you are able to progress in a challenging environment
- Strong ability to forecast and accurately manage accounts, opportunities, activity in CRM

- 10+ years of experience and a proven track record selling complex data, analytics, or other software solutions to hospitals and health systems
- Proven record of managing sales teams successfully
- Familiar with the healthcare IT ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to drive net-new business growth through programs and campaigns
- Experience reviewing and negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements
- Understanding of reporting requirements, tools and processes, especially Salesforce CRM
- A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Polished public speaking and presentation ability
