DIA UX Strategy & Services has embarked on an exciting transformation to support the topic of User and Customer Experience in Diagnostics. The team is the Global guardian of methodologies and tools in the User & Customer Experience space and is responsible for driving actively Product & Service Design in hardware, software and web application development projects. Embedded in program and project teams, DIA UX provide the services needed for successful user-centered design (user research, interaction design, service coordination with external agencies and usability evaluations).
We are now looking for a DIA Experience Lead to drive coherence of experiences across the Roche portfolio, expand team thinking to service and strategic design, and build the organizational perception of design as crucial for strategic decisions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Drive the DIA UX strategy alongside the DIA UX Leadership Team and key stakeholders in the areas of: Product & Service Design, UX/CX Insights, DIA Experience
Develop rituals for project kick-off on business success criteria
Manage the team knowledge sharing and be accountable for overall team knowledge sharing
Develop a strategic facilitation process to engage with internal clients and increase DIA UX engagement in project scoping phases
Drive understanding of the importance of UX/CX standardisations (methodologies, tools & guidelines)
Be an advocate and increase uptake of the Roche Design System while being able to demonstrate the return on investment via customers satisfactions and metrics
Set measure of Design Quality
Grow vendor portfolio and management
Lead business development outreach and thought leadership for DIA UX
Coach and grow the capabilities of designers and offer an environment where a culture of exchange and co-creation is welcome to ensure people’s development in the different areas of interest (interaction design, industrial design, service design and so on)
Who you are
To be successful in this role you ideally bring the following expertise:
Successful track record of managing organizations and/or Design-led departments.
Strong capabilities in integrated design experiences and industry domains; contributed to several products or services that have come to market with ownership of deliverables.
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries, business acumen, business development and client management skills.
Experience in designing and delivering integrated UX / CX solutions for digital products, services and applications
Contributed to several products or services that have come to market with ownership of deliverables.
Passionate about design and the impact of technology and innovation on people and society
Minimum 10+ years of experience. (5+ years in leadership roles; 5+ years in a regulated industry)
BA/BS degree in Design, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Sociology or other related fields
Outstanding communication skills are essential with the ability to communicate credibly at all levels; influence key stakeholders in a highly complex cross-functional environment and build collaborative relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.
