Job Description

We are looking for product manager for a short-term assignment (STA) to join our Oncology Business Unit 2, Roche affiliate in Taiwan and develop a pre-launch plan for Kadcyla. Kadcyla is a strategic brand at HER2 franchise and a key growth driver as well. KATHERINE study data has just been published in Dec. 2018 at St. Antonio and viewed as clinical practice changing data. We need your support to shape the landscape for early breast cancer treatment for both Kadcyla and Perjeta.

Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Manager of the HER2 Franchise, you will help shape the brand strategy and drive implementation by providing the link between strategy and execution. You will work cross-functionally to prepare for and support the pre-launch plan of Kadcyla in eBC. You will contribute to the HER2 franchise integrated strategy, focusing on the commercial aspects in collaboration with Market Access, Medical and Pricing functions.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Accountable for the management of a defined product portfolio with specific attention to product availability to meet customer demand/business needs
  • Translate Roche Pharma Global strategy into local marketing plans
  • Plan and successfully launch new indications
  • Help develop appropriate marketing strategy and tactical action plans to optimize performance
  • Ensure that assigned products are accurately forecasted; manage the introduction of products; and that product changes/updates are communicated
  • Ensure that all commercial product management tasks are properly implemented
  • Ensure that the sales force has the product related knowledge and skills required to sell/promote the products
  • Monitor monthly progress against plan and recommend corrective actions
  • Complete TAEs and customer profiling, mapping and engagement
  • Align with the medical team for strategic planning
  • Share regular competitive analysis and key market trends with commercial operations. 
  • Conduct different scenario planning prior to outcome or data read-out, and plan ahead for contingency actions
  • Respect the compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies


Bachelor’s Degree (marketing, business management or life sciences discipline is preferred)

MBA or other relevant Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree is a plus


  • 2-3 years’ experience as product manager, new launch planning & management is a plus
  • HER2 commercial experience preferred
  • Managed branding, medical education and public relations/communication agencies
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience in translating science into marketing messages
