Diagnostics Governance & Services drives the alignment of the divisional governance model based on solution concepts and divisional standards mutually agreed with all Business Areas (Molecular Solutions, Centralised Point of Care). Thereby we provide the needed services and common assets that help the Business Areas to reach the common goal.

As a Standard Domain Lead, you will contribute to the strategy of the standard domain and - with your technical and business expertise - to a better system integration by managing the lifecycle of product standards. This function will act within standardization workstreams and associated Lifecycle team representation.

In this role, you will furthermore be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Acting as the interface across International Business Teams (IBTs) to ensure alignment and collaboration related to product standardization within solution areas

  • Being the single point of contact for questions about the standard domain portfolio i.e. software interoperability, Hardware interoperability etc.

  • Managing the Workstream consisting of architects, technical and business experts

  • Owns the lifecycle of your standard domain including the implementation roadmap

  • Driving standards adoption by balancing the following key dimensions: People, process, tools

  • Managing the annual budget and monitoring standardization KPIs to ensure a positive return on investments

  • Working closely with standard domain owners representing the Sales Regions, Business Areas and Global Functions in order to align the standardization strategy with the product and solution portfolio and  associated roadmaps

  • Working closely with the different R&D groups and other Global Functions to ensure right first time and stable deliveries to operations

  • Leading and influencing in a complex, highly matrixed organization, incl. gaining alignment across the lifecycle team, business areas and global functions, executing on the long-term strategic vision and product roadmaps, managing tactics and aligned with the technology roadmap

In order to fulfil the requirements for the role, you should bring the following experience and/or skills:

  • Experienced in healthcare or IVD industry. Strong knowledge of Lab processes, HealthCare IT and the overall healthcare ecosystem, with a speciality in Software or Hardware development

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, experience of working in a Life Cycle Team environment

  • Deep Understanding about the global Diagnostics Solution selling, installation and maintenance

  • Strong communication skills both in writing as well as orally

  • Previous relevant and track record experience in Product Management, Sales, Laboratory etc.

  • Leadership skills: ability to facilitate collaboration and drive results within a matrix organization, proven strategic agility and ability to react, adapt to and influence changing situations

  • Desirable experience with application of technical standards or work with Standard Development Organizations (e.g., HL7, IHE, CLSI, IEEE, ...)
