The Architecture Design team will be accountable of having a 360º view of our iPDM ecosystem, supporting the design of the functional and technical integration solutions to onboard them onto our common platform. It will be key to have a deep understanding on how our applications work to support Business requirements in alignment with the architecture principles and standards, acting as the authority and guardian of the Architecture Design within iPDM Experience Delivery.
The Head of Architecture Design is experienced in specialized tools, such as APIs, Event-Driven-Architecture, identity federation and interoperability standards made specifically to support our digital assets, high volume data storage and consumption.
Lead the team of Architects that will be acting as the guardians of the Architecture roadmap for the iPDM Ecosystem and act as the authority that defines and protect the Architecture guidelines in alignment with the iPDM Strategy;
Work with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales and Medical teams to recommend the best solutions that will scale, is reliable and will evolve according to the iPDM Strategy, in compliance with the data privacy and legal requirements;
Guide the best technical solution process to integrate different applications and systems using the standard components of our architecture landscape, detecting potential gaps or required improvements;
Support the Development, Solution Architects and Business teams providing the best path when it comes to Architecture and Technical topics, facilitating the service delivery and the fulfilment of delivering strategic outcomes;
Proactively foster the delivery of high-quality maintenance, enhancements, and project initiatives of the iPDM Ecosystem;
Ensure that the Architecture components are reusable as much as possible, aligned with the standards and best practices;
Work in a multi-project, multi-team environment with both internal and external team members;
Understand and analyze non-functional requirements, depending on the nature of a project, including security, privacy and performance requirements. Provide solutions to mitigate the identified risks;
Stand as the focal point for advanced architecture blueprints, fostering reuse and creation of value across the company.
Deliver clear value-based technology strategies and roadmaps to support our iPDM Ecosystem Strategy;
Provide insights and input for better decision-making to help building the capabilities required to deliver efficient tools to support iPDM Strategy;
Lead and encourage the technology transformation from roadmap to realization by conducting assessments, innovation and prioritizing standards;
Assess technologies and trends in a methodical way to ensure insights-based recommendations that fits the iPDM Strategy. Analyze current technology environment to identify deficiencies and recommend solutions, as well as staying abreast of emerging security technologies and trends and apply them where appropriate
Facilitate engagement and foster collaboration with architecture partners to ensure consistency in direction and decision-making;
Direct the team to support the creation of compelling presentations to articulate the technical strategies, architecture and roadmaps to various levels in the Organization, helping define the strategies and principles that guide the Digital and Device Engineering teams to implement consistent solutions;
Assisting with technology and service selection process;
Support Contract and vendor negotiation with external technology partners, including negotiation, relationship management, tracking, troubleshooting and reporting;
Consult on technical architecture implementation activities with all partners and Solution Owners to ensure alignment, working with the Digital Engineering team on the evaluation and selection of Cloud & Data platform related technologies and products;
Identify the organizational, operational sustainability and financial impacts of defined strategies; analyze gaps to create a risk profile for the proposed strategy.
Key skills and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience and certified in multiple areas (Cloud, Data, Security, Integration, Solution Architecting desired);
Ideally, you have strong business knowledge in the Healthcare industry and associated processes 5 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure and/or application with medium to large global enterprises with global geographical topologies in highly regulated environments;
Cloud Management Platforms, Data Governance & Protection, Data Management & Advanced Analytics, Automation and Orchestration frameworks, Service-oriented Architecture, Network Development;
Deep expertise in scalable solutions design and delivery, following microservice approach using: API & Real Time Integration, Healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR or HL7, Identity Management solutions using OAuth2, OpenID, SAML, etc.
Holds business knowledge and financial skills to support the business case for solution deployments, including return on investment and efficiency measures;
Experienced communication and consulting skills; able to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and Engineering teams.

Has developed an eye for detail and an ability to navigate ambiguity
Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
MS in Computer Science or related field;
Knowledge of distributed systems following microservice approach;
Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS Certified Solution Architecture is a plus);
Experience in Healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR or HL7;
Understanding of healthcare industry, regulated environments (GxPs), will be a preferred;
Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud is a plus;
Modelling tools, web & mobile security, API design.
