As part of the People & Culture (P&C) organization, formerly HR, the Product Manager - HR Technology (HRIS Management) will provide expertise, partnership and product ownership of our enabling P&C technology with the vision of creating a seamless digital P&C experience to unlock greatness in our people and our organisation. 

The Product Manager - HR Technology (HRIS Management) translates customer and business needs into large enterprise product solutions (such as ServiceNow, Workday, Cornerstone) and other supporting solutions. Creates the vision and aligns stakeholders around the vision for the product.  Evangelizes the shared vision across larger teams to empower independent decision making for specific product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define a compelling vision for a product that reflects customer and business needs in line with the strategic themes for P&C Technology and align stakeholders around the vision for the product

  • Provide overall product leadership and governance for the product and advocates for P&C priorities in other cross-functional decision bodies, when applicable

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap

  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product

  • Deeply understand and represent customer needs and wants, using these insights to inform the vision and roadmap

  • Work with business stakeholders to maintain alignment as priorities and scope change

  • Oversee system wide releases and manages vendor relationship

  • Prioritize product features and capabilities across the solution. Final decision maker when respective Product Owners cannot align on priority, if needed

  • Collect structured feedback in collaboration with Product Owners and Adoption & Change Manager to continuously improve product quality 

  • Bridge the gap between technical team members and non-technical stakeholders by blending technical proficiency with empathy and high-level communication skills

  • Coach and mentor other colleagues as required to continuously build capability in Product Manager/Owner community and with our supporting partners

  • Oversee large scale, global implementations as needed

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a related field in business administration, human resources, or related field

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (Workday, Cornerstone, ServiceNow, etc.) and large scale implementations

  • Strong functional understanding of core HR business terminology, processes and practices

  • Polished communicator with the ability to evangelize technology solutions to a wide range of stakeholders through visualization and storytelling

  • Experience operating in a large corporate environment with strong business acumen to understand corporate business levers and the need for pragmatism

  • Valued leader, team member and effective collaborator within cross-functional squads

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and react quickly and strategically to changing priorities

  • Functional Product and/or Project Management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions
