Your day to day responsibilities are:
The People and Culture (P&C) Country Operations Specialist is part of the PSS chapter, works closely with the broader PSS organization and provides specific country services needed to be performed in the local language or needed to have local physical presence because of the relationship with authorities, tax and/or labor offices. The main focus of the P&C Country Operations Specialist relates to personal interaction with external stakeholders: Government authorities, External vendors (e.g. Payroll Provider, local law firm), Works council, managing local payroll, benefits administration and operations, contracts and documentation issuance, etc. In this role you are focusing on Roche Hungary Affiliate related matters. You build, maintain relationships with HR colleagues within the Roche Shared Service Center and ensure continuous process development.
As qualified expert, your are:
Ensuring that Roche Hungary’s payroll is updated according to standards - making sure that colleagues get answers for their payroll process related questions
Acting as Learning Expert for the Cornerstone system and contribute to accessing the updated learning experience of our colleagues.
Ensuring personnel documents are up to date, in case of any employment data change the processes are finalized
Informing employees about relevant people news: new joiners, training opportunities, benefit elements available, updated org chart
Supporting your key stakeholders: employees, Line managers in accessing available Roche HR solutions.
Further tasks including but not limited to:
1) Employee Lifecycle Operations
Issuing documents based on employee needs
Managing sick leave certificates
Issuing confirmations of employment/salary, reference letters upon request
Sending documents to government institutions
2) Learning and Development
Keeping Cornerstone Learning system up to date
Ensuring the available learning is accessible for our employee and authority required trainings are shared and completed by colleagues
3) Payroll/Time Operations
Performing all related payroll activities or manage the relationship with 3rd party vendors
Performing the monthly deductions for Roche Connect - where applicable
Performing all time management related activities
4) Benefits Operations
Conducting benefit administration and operations activities, including enrolment, deduction, calculations, payment, form processing and other related benefit tasks.
Conducting Workday or benefit administration data and system set-up work and auditing, ensuring accurate benefit enrollment, changes, interfaces and integrations with vendors, partnering with Payroll and IT as needed
Performing data auditing and reporting (including legal and regulatory) as required by the local country and programs
Supporting the implementation of new/existing benefits programs, vendors or changes,
Interfacing with and manage benefit vendors to ensure accuracy, high service levels and desired employee experience
Supporting updates to employee communications and policy materials
Acting as an escalation point and resource for People Support Team on benefits enquiries, supporting end-to-end resolution
Proactively identifying process improvements and troubleshoot complex issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution
Delivering and facilitating interviews
Delivering explanation of unique local benefits
Creating and issuing offers to final candidates

Firm knowledge of Workday and Cornerstone system (strong plus)
Experienced and efficient handling of standard IT-applications, preferably Google suite
Confident level of English both spoken and written.
