Roche Diagnostics created a new business area charged with building and commercializing a portfolio of integrated digital products, solutions and services along the care continuum.
Our focus is to bring decision support solutions that enable confident healthcare decisions, by unlocking insights from data and digitalization (e.g. diagnostic algorithms, clinical decision support) as well as orchestrating disease management to improve care along the patient journey.
For this role, we are looking for candidates with strong expertise in both marketing and healthcare IT and the ability to operate in a constantly evolving environment to join our marketing team and contribute to this exciting initiative.
In this strategic marketing role, you will be a member of the Marketing Chapter at Roche Information Solutions (RIS) and report to the Solution Marketing & Operations Lead. You will be owning the portfolio messaging and shape the direction of a growing portfolio of integrated digital products across the Roche Information Solution (RIS) and Roche Diagnostics Solution (RDS) team.
This is a phenomenal opportunity to shape and influence how we deliver a portfolio of integrated digital products to different market segments, in order to improve and personalize care for more patients.
This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to implementing the marketing vision supporting the Roche strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include
You will be responsible for the Roche integrated digital products portfolio Marketing Strategy (across RIS and RDS) and the alignment of integrated value propositions across the customer areas and lifecycle teams, in collaboration with the Marketing and Innovation team. This includes leading the efforts to:
translate the Roche Information Solution strategy, goals and market opportunities into a cohesive portfolio go-to-market architecture and value proposition
partner with marketing and innovation, product and commercialization leaders across customer areas and lifecycle teams to design an aligned set of portfolio level marketing strategies, tactics and resources to achieve Roche strategic objectives (including competitive positioning, messaging and materials)
understand target customer and buyers journeys, value drivers and translate these to portfolio level sales plays to accelerate profitable growth, in collaboration with other global, regional and affiliate marketing teams
develop necessary market / shaping strategies, including claims roadmap and market studies, in collaboration with the marketing and innovation team
drive the internal and external roll-out of the defined portfolio story across the customer areas, as well as execution of strategies in market
Being an interface with the product team and the RDS Marketing and Customer Insights team to shape a global competitive landscape and identify value drivers and claims to help inform our own product roadmap, partnership strategy and strategic C-Level portfolio strategy
You will drive the overarching digital product portfolio marketing strategy, value proposition and plan, and support its translation into the different customer area and networks team
You ensure that the marketing and commercialization teams bring to bear the best possible portfolio marketing initiatives to convey a consistent and cohesive portfolio value proposition aligned with the Roche ambition and strategy
The travel requirement for this position is up to 30%.

A passion for storytelling and strategic portfolio marketer with 8+ years of proven experience
You have experience in leading strategic marketing in a software environment such as cloud platforms, SaaS and business applications for healthcare providers or labs
You have a good understanding of software / SaaS business in healthcare, as well as digital channels
We can fully trust in your ability to combine strategic and system thinking with excellent marketing execution internally and externally across a matrix organization
Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills are natural to you
As a results oriented personality you have problem solving skills and an eye for business
You have a self-motivated attitude with a true passion for strategic marketing and healthcare, with strong work ethics
