As a Financial Specialist you will perform day-to-day accounting and monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities, besides mentoring your team mates. You would be responsible for training new joiners, taking part in internal projects (for example process improvement, etc.) and assisting your Team Leader in answering technical and accounting related questions coming from your peers.
You will be responsible for:
GL journal posting, B/S Account reconciliation
Cost and revenue allocation in controlling
AR manual invoicing, daily bank posting
Reconciliation of bank and bank suspense B/S accounts
Cash allocation, clearing of AR and bank suspense accounts
Posting and reconciling treasury transactions
Intercompany reconciliation and reporting
Fixed asset and CAPEX accounting activities
Tax posting and reporting
Production closing in Material Management module of SAP
Reporting for consolidation
Deliver process training as ordered by the Team Lead / Operations Manager
Preparation of learning path (including training material)
Support the onboarding process: access and equipment management, job shadowing
Prepare statistics and reports as requested by the Team Lead/Operations Manager
Contribute to cross departmental initiatives
Coordinate with Support and Project teams on process change & improvement
Participate in knowledge transfers and user acceptance test sessions
Participate to Global Roche Best Practice Sharing workshops on behalf of SSC
Maintain process documentation
Act as a first level contact in case of system/process issue for their peers
