The cobas Liat Systems Complaint Investigation and Resolution (CIR) team performs global case handling on customer inquiries and complaints within Roche Molecular Solutions for a set of medical devices in commercial and hospital labs. In the position as Intern in Case Investigation & Resolution Support you will be working alongside global case handling experts and, under their guidance, you will assist them with the evaluation, investigation and resolution of customer complaints and inquiries for hardware or software issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Under guidance, performing case handling on customer inquiry and complaint cases for one of our systems (cobas Liat)

  • Communicating in the case handling IT system with local Roche case handlers worldwide for information request, case status updates and final conclusion

  • Verifying issue root cause by executing routine investigations

  • Representing and communicating on the status of individual cases in the CIR team or interfacing meetings

  • Maintaining own formal training up to date (highly regulated industry requirement)

Who you are

In order to be successful in this position you have a detailed-oriented working style and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks if needed.

  • You are currently enrolled or have recently graduated (12 months) with a degree in the field of Engineering, IT or Business

  • You are someone who has an independent interest in technology and the willingness to explore technologies new to you

  • You have good general IT knowledge

  • You can communicate  your ideas easily to varied audiences

  • You think critically, have good reasoning abilities and a problem solving mindset

  • You are detailed in your work and prioritize effectively

  • You are flexible and patient with various requests

  • You have excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of German is advantageous
