The SDL is a global field-based role working across a country to accelerate the development and delivery of medicines to patients through effective medical customer engagement in the development
phase of the life cycle of ophthalmic surgical technology. Establishing partnerships with key external stakeholders and collaborating with global and affiliate cross-functional partners, the SDL is
responsible for all aspects of Investigator and clinical staff training, verification of technical and scientific information of the Port Delivery System platforms to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Your upcoming mission:
Develops and facilitates relationships and collaborative networks with external stakeholders ensuring Roche is the preferred partner
Drives scientific knowledge exchange with experts and across scientific networks at global and affiliate level, including medical education activities
Establishes and maintains scientific collaborations with key external stakeholders (including patient organizations, global and local scientific societies, academia, thought leaders and policy and access stakeholders, as appropriate)
Overcomes barriers to facilitate collaborations between customers and the organization
Identifies and progresses key opportunities for increased collaboration and cooperation with and between internal and external stakeholders at global and affiliate level
Engages and educates Investigators and site staff to enable and expedite successful delivery of clinical development programs of the Port Delivery technology and science
We are looking for a driven and team-oriented colleague who has experience in working global in a cross-functional way with colleagues & affiliates. Contributes to the high performance and innovation of the SDL team and the broader Global Medical Collaboration function to optimize customer experience and to evolve to meet the needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
In addition to a degree in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences, you have several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (ideally in the medical field)
You have several years of in-field experience in ophthalmology as well as experience with clinical studies
Strong ophthalmology background preferred, especially in ophthalmic surgery
You are goal-oriented, have strong communication skills, strategic thinking and the ability to present complex scientific issues in an understandable manner among your strengths
You are a proactive and team-oriented personality who can work successfully in complex team structures
Fluent German & English as well as MS & Google skills are required
You can expect an annual salary starting at € 50,000 gross; the actual salary depends on your personal qualifications and experience.
