The ASPIRE Program team seeks an energetic Communication Leader to facilitate effective communication for a global business transformation program enabled by the newest generation of SAP ERP. 

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the ASPIRE Global Program Lead and the program leadership team to drive program objectives through timely and consistent communications, including messaging and programs, providing expert executive counsel and coaching, and identifying the best activities for maximizing impact

  • Drive the development and deployment of the communications strategy for the program by working with colleagues and other stakeholders from different functions (Finance, Procurement, Pharma Technical Operations, IT, Dia, etc.) that advance the business agenda and translates into value-adding communication

  • Advise and coach the members of the ASPIRE program leadership team in communication matters as well as stakeholder management and support the program lead in preparations for engagement with relevant background, messaging, etc.

  • Coordinate communication for the program team members and across the different functions aligned with the organizational change management strategy

Who you are:

You hold a university degree in communications or equivalent education.

You also have a proficient experience in corporate communications with the proven ability to plan and deliver communication for a global internal audience, as well as proven experience with internal communication roles for business change initiatives that incorporated systems and technology implementations. Furthermore, you have significant experience of developing, delivering and measuring internal communications programs that support cultural and organizational change within large operational organizations.

You have a strong executive presence with a history of cultivating strong and trusting counseling relationships with executive leaders, as well as ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships with senior executive leaders. You are able to shape and deliver technical key messages and make connections between seemingly disparate issues to various audiences aligned to targeted needs and project objectives.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail; storytelling expertise and the skills to translate complex topics and concepts into engaging messages and communication

  • Experienced and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural team in a matrixed organization; Experience in organizational change management preferred

  • >10 years of relevant experience driving complex and global projects

  • Strong people skills are required as the role is highly consultative, interacting with staff at all levels across an organization, as well as the ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills, outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, Capable of presenting material to senior management and to work effectively with diverse teams

  • Strength of conviction while also being flexible and humble, a track record of consistently acting with urgency as appropriate. Able to strategize and synthesize one minute and execute the next; Good listener, empathetic and kind

  • Has a “can-do” attitude, Welcomes challenges and has a history of meeting them. Thinks analytically and solves problems well. Maintains a pleasant demeanor in difficult situations 

  • Fluent English skills, German a plus
