The Cross-Portfolio Strategy team is a strategic advisor to the GPS LT and beyond, supporting our senior leaders in shaping above-therapeutic area level strategy to capture emerging healthcare trends and prepare for the future.
In this position, you will provide integration leadership across the Roche late-stage and commercial organization and our self-organized teams. You will spearhead the commercial portfolio strategy dialogue within GPS and be responsible for the guidance and prioritization provided to affiliates, evolve the dialogue on the Pharma Business Model and lead (or support a senior leader) in driving strategy projects across the value chain with a focus on integrating point of views, expertise and know-how to move decisions.
Lead or support senior leaders in driving strategy projects to support decision making, specifically focusing on clarifying the right problem statement, integrating thinking, expertise and know-how across the Roche organization and inject external information to temper the final output
Design, orchestrate and establish the cross-functional effort to realize the portfolio strategy context and guidance dialogue in GPS
Lead this new ongoing dialogue of the portfolio strategy context and guidance for the GPS LT and GPS resource allocation forums
Evolve the Strategic Brief to meet the personalized needs of the affiliates and establish a joint perspective on the commercial portfolio strategy and priorities across Roche Global and Affiliates
Facilitate an integrative dialogue across the value chain to evaluate our Pharma Business model for the next 3-5 years and help our leaders navigate the Roche Pharma portfolio into the future.
Be the GPS China Portfolio leader that, as a fluid resource, provides China expertise and support in ensuring Global pre-launch and launch efforts are efficiently translated to the China market
A life-science / business degree or equivalent
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international environment
An innovative and creative thinker with a strong drive to learn and a 'can-do' approach
Ability to contribute to problem solving and structure topics for decision making
Ability to deal in ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast moving environment
Significant experience in project and stakeholder management
Self-starter, ability to work independently as well as in teams
A passion for Healthcare, innovation and strategy
Deep understanding of the China market and ability to seamlessly translate priorities and needs between Global and Local (China)
Insights into any, or all, parts of the Roche Group portfolio and products would be a plus
Fluency in English required, working knowledge in Mandarin Chinese a plus
