As a Senior ERP Solution Architect Analytics you will be working in our multicultural, dynamic global ERP Analytics team, which is part of the Global ERP Team within Roche’s Global Infrastructure and Solutions (GIS) organization. ERP Analytics provides ERP reporting and analytical solutions to Roche worldwide with the ambition to "power the intelligent enterprise for patients".
To achieve this, you will drive architecture in a cross practice that will further develop our strategy for ERP-related Analytics technology. You will organise the impact assessment of the changing environment on our current landscape to evolve and optimize it towards our strategy in alignment with our partners in IT and business. You will drive on creating a holistic and efficient Solution and Information architecture in full alignment with the Enterprise architecture framework.
You will provide consulting support to our project managers and key business stakeholders and drive the right architecture with quick demos and proof-of-concepts to answer technology questions. You will interact with various stakeholders and business partners across multiple functional organizations to better understand their business challenges, business & information architecture and priorities to deliver on their analytical needs while collaborating with various IT teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support the Leadership Team and collaborate with Business and IT teams to shape, evolve, implement and communicate the Solution and Information strategy in the area of ERP Analytics including Planning, Reporting, Advanced Analytics (Data Science & Machine Learning), Datalake Strategy, Business Self-Service and Automatizing the Analytics process
You will collaborate with the different Solution Architects accountable for the different areas/verticals, you will develop best practises and standards with respective governance concepts in alignment with enterprise architecture standards and principles
You will organise the IT offering into IT Capability and Personas consistent with the GIS & ERP Analytics offering and manage their lifecycle
You will support the vertical solution architects in understanding Business requirements and processes and translating them into Analytics BI platform specific solution and system design, effectively bridging gap between business and IT
You ensure consistency, alignment and governance of the architecture with both IT security and Architecture Framework e.g .by conducting architecture reviews for all team projects
You will support innovation activities and supports hands-on the Proof of Concepts (PoC) applying agile methodologies to quickly validate concepts that contribute to the definition of the strategy
You will ensure transparency on the validated architecture by keeping all relevant Architecture repositories updated (ARB Folders, GREAT, CityMap, Collibra Technology Assets etc.)
You work on the framework and the implementation of a data architecture supporting business organisation for Business self-Service as well and efficient IT activities according to FAIR principles and compliant with Roche Data Marketplace (based on Collibra)
You ensure consistency between different components within Analytics framework, and make sure that the right level of documentation is supported (vendor audits, system risk assessment, data classification reports, Solution architecture documents)
You provides project management and implementation guidance where needed
For this position, you bring the following qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent education in computer science, software engineering or similar field, preferably with exposure to pharma industry regulations ( GxP) and corporation regulations (GDPR, SoX embedded in ICFR) ane experience of working in Global environment
10+ years experience in design and implementation of analytics systems
Extensive experience of SAP solutions for ERP ( ECC, S4HANA), Analytics and reporting (BW, BW-IP, BO, Lumira, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analytics Hub, Data Warehouse in the Cloud), Advanced Analytics Tools ( SAP Leonardo, SAP Cloud Platform, Data Intelligence) and User Experience Platform (Enterprise Portal, Fiori LaunchPad, Cloud Portal)
Basic Knowledge of alternative solutions for Analytic and Reporting (IBM Planning Analytics, Tableau, Qlikview ) as well as Cloud environments for Analytics ( AWS, GCP)
Significant exposure to Architecture methodology as TOGAF
Experience in Information Architecture
Profound skills in defining hybrid infrastructure environments while coping with challenging customers and project goals
Experience in applying design principles (business process design tools included) and of integration architecture principles within the targeted area of focus. Solid experience in designing attractive reporting solutions optimized for ease of use
Exhibit strong business partnering, communication skills paired with solid consultancy and co-creation experience
Easily collaborate with off-shore, near-shore and cloud providers
Experience in Project Management will be an additional advantage
