Within the Solution Integration & Services (SIS) business area, the Analytics and Services Lifecycle Team is a critical contributor and enabler of Roche’s divisional aspiration to realize the connected core lab, and to provide integrated diagnostics information anywhere, anytime. The international business team (IBT) Service Analytics is sharing the aspiration to transform the focus of the lab by exploiting data to proactively make it simpler to operate and give it the power to deliver more value to the healthcare system. 

Continuing  our digital journey in customer support, we focus on data-based solutions that ensure business continuity in (hospital) laboratories (optimize up-time, minimizing unexpected downtime) and we implement new, innovation-based business models based on data driven insights. 

We recently successfully started the implementation of AI (artificial intelligence) based use cases across maintenance, incl. predictive maintenance. To enhance our portfolio towards the direction of advanced troubleshooting and enabling prescriptive maintenance, we are now hiring an International Product Manager / Product Owner.

With “advanced troubleshooting”, we are aiming for smart solution(s) that can automatically identify instrument/performance issues based on instrument data and propose appropriate actions to a service representative or customer to solve the identified problem in the most efficient way. 

As an IPM for Advanced Troubleshooting you will shape the Service Analytics product portfolio and enable the service organization to solve issues faster and more efficient – by leveraging data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Your main tasks will include:

  • You identify opportunities for advanced troubleshooting in our product portfolio and prioritize activities accordingly, maximizing customer value

  • You are guiding an agile development team to develop first MVPs and finally an advanced troubleshooting solution for our service representatives/lab customers in the role of a product owner

  • You cooperate closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. analytics engineering team, product managers, service representatives etc.) to include existing products in the overarching troubleshooting solution and to leverage projects that are crucial for the successful implementation

  • You will act as a “translator”, fostering communication e.g. between subject matter experts, data scientists and engineers/application specialists - to make sure that reliable prescriptive models for dedicated instruments are available and implemented

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to foster agreement and alignment with a complex set of stakeholders

  • A proven experience within implementing advanced troubleshooting solutions or prescriptive maintenance in a high-tech sector - preferably in the IVD industry

  • A structured personality, with the ability to capture and manage complex tasks, an open & agile mindset, challenging conventional paradigms & willingness to learn

  • Passionate about using data-driven methods for solving complex problems

  • Exceptional communication skills in English

  • Ideally you also have experience with agile methodologies and software development
