We are looking for a Head of People & Culture for Diabetes Care Region International to:
Proactively diagnose the organizational needs and lead the implementation and delivery of strategic people and culture projects that create value for the Diabetes Care business
Drive concepts and programmes that support talent and organizational development
Lead a networked People & Culture organization with the Creative Leadership mindset and VACC roles
Effectively demonstrate the People & Culture capabilities: Partnering Strategically, Embracing Agility, Driving Change, Generating People Insights
Drive agile transformations, working effectively in ambiguity to create and shape something new and impactful
Successfully navigate complex, multicultural and highly matrix environments
Bring strong functional expertise in Business Partnering
Influence and engage in and beyond the business partnering chapter
Demonstrate customer-centricity (incl. needs anticipation, cultural awareness, managing one’s response)
Hold end-to-end accountability (incl. big picture and impact understanding, engaging others to ensure a successful outcome)
Problem-solve (incl. active listening, critical thinking, process improvements)

Hold a breadth of experience across different business and geographic environments, with a preference on commercial experience
As a member of the Region International Leadership Team, reporting to the Head of People & Culture Diabetes Care and a dotted line to the Head of Region International Diabetes Care, you will provide Regional People & Culture practices for Commercial Operations for Diabetes Care Region International. To do so successfully, you will collaborate closely with People & Culture colleagues locally, regionally, globally and cross-functionally.
Diabetes Care Region International covers the largest geographic area for Roche Diabetes Care, carrying out business:
in more than 150 countries
across 4 continents: South America, Africa and Asia, Europe
in more than 25 legal entities with more than 1700 employees
representing around 50% of Diabetes Care Sales
The ideal candidate possesses the following experience and skills:
Significant experience in Business Partnering in a local or regional/global environment, with commercial affiliate experience;
Strong commercial acumen
Full range of functional People & Culture skills and experience;
Experience as a line manager and as a member of a senior management team;
Lived and worked in more than one country, open to an intercultural working environment;
A hands-on, can-do mindset and approach
Fluent English essential; one additional language from a Diabetes Care Region International country desirable (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic etc.)
Prepared to travel frequently, globally (up to 50%)

Your strong strategic thinking skills come combined with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans, and you assume full responsibility to achieve the expected outcomes.
