Vice President of Commercial Innovation

You will be responsible to lead Commercial Innovation function and act as trusted strategic thought partner to China Leadership for RDSL’s success in China. Develop commercial innovation strategy and provide various business solutions on business development needs to drive business growth. Securing new and potential market and growth opportunities.

  • Partner RDSL leadership team to formulate long-term corporate and business strategies, develop and implement new product portfolio strategy. Work closely with BA to support BA’s commercial strategies development.
  • Scouting, identify, evaluate and analyze growth opportunities in the China market, and make recommendations to leadership team about the viability of opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end strategic commercial innovation projects (including but not limited to co-promotion, strategic alliance, digital initiatives, etc.) from scouting, due diligence, valuation, negotiation and contracting, by leading cross-functional teams to secure and boost business opportunities.
  • Lead and drive various digitalization by driving commercialization strategies and developing partners to build up digital eco-system.
  • Manage relationship with local, regional and global stakeholders, interact with internal contacts, facilitate communication, and deliver on key milestones
  • Collect and maintain excellent market intelligence and proactively share insights, knowledge, and experience with leadership team and corporate to support strategic decision making.
  • Build and maintain company leading image in the market and participate in relevant networks, associations and events.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team

Education& Qualifications:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree, preferred in a science / medical/Biology related major, MBA degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.


  • A solid career experience with track record in sales and marketing management with major multinational healthcare companies where a sophisticated operating system is in place
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic making & BD process
  • Experience in In-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
