Sales Specialist Point of Care Testing for the Flemish speaking part of Belgium

The Role

After thorough training, you will be responsible as Sales Specialist for the Roche Diagnostics’ portfolio “Point of Care Testing”.

Key responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for Flemish speaking part of Belgium focussing on the POC (Point of care testing) portfolio as an expert. You develop and strengthen the existing client portfolio as well as hunting for new clients. 

  • You support and implement the strategy that has been defined together with the key account manager. 

  • You support the customers on a scientific, applicative and commercial basis so that a continuous, efficient service is provided.

S/he is able to team up with our full RDB organisation and brings the right positive mindset into the projects, hunting for opportunities.You’re someone who owns your own development.   • Bachelor or Master's degree in science (biomedical, chemical, biotechnology, biology, etc.) or the equivalent in experience.

  • Several years of experience in at least one of the following fields: clinical labs, POC, working in a hospital

  • Good understanding of digital solutions and tools in the health care sector, patients and data workflow. Ready to learn how to integrate new complete solutions (devices & digital)  at customers and translate the solution into benefits for the customer.

  • Track record of success in sales positions; ideally in the field of medtech/diagnostics. You can demonstrate solid sales records, strategic acumen and main achievements. 

  • Strong knowledge of strategic selling skills and advanced customer relationship management skills. You have commercial talent and you are sales minded, you show strong selling and negotiation skills.

  • Strong customer communication skills: capability to listen to and understand the customer, to create enthusiasm, to create needs and to respond adequately to the needs of customers.

  • Experience in project management in a hospital environment: capability to align different internal and external stakeholders to the common goal, get the project run smoothly. 

  • Agile mindset: the set of attitudes supporting an agile working environment. These include respect, collaboration, improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change.

  • Positive mental "doer" attitude with a hands-on promptness in decision making.

  • A dynamic, high energy and self-starting individual who inspires teams through natural leadership and passion, energizing those around him/her.

  • Bilingual: Dutch and scientific English.

  • Good understanding of Google tools and CRM.
