HR Perspectives

Are you a talented HR professional with an excellent academic education? Is your goal to become a future leader in HR? Would you like to gain global experience by working in different areas of HR? Then, “HR Perspectives” is for you!

HR Perspectives is Roche’s global rotation program designed for individuals who are at an early stage of their career in Human Resources and who would like to make significant contributions to what patients need next. We are looking for highly energetic and globally mobile future HR leaders from around the world.

Recognizing the central importance of experiential learning and development, HR Perspectives provides HR professionals a unique opportunity to build a broad global network, experience different areas of HR, and gain skills that will be necessary for a career in HR – and all of this in an accelerated timeframe.

2017 application period open between end February and May 5 
1st round phone interviews with successful applicants and Roche Basel recruiters from March – mid May
2nd round video interviews with applicants who passed the 1st round and HR Perspectives Program Managers from mid March – mid May
On July 12-13, final program eligibility assessment in Basel with up to 12 successful applicants.

Program Characteristics

  • A rotational talent development program which offers a wide range of experiences
  • 2 years in different HR disciplines, 3-4 assignments
  • Positions around the globe, depending on availability
  • Participants perform in “real” responsibilities / projects
  • Contribute from day 1, performance in your rotations is key

Up to date…

  • HR Perspectives was launched in 2011: Learn more about Meryem, Karina, Louisa, Hanna, Pia and Christin's experience as some of our program graduates.
  • In 2017, we have 4 program participants: Pelin, Jessica, Jannik and Jacob who are in their first/second year of program participation. They have experienced a number of different roles, for example as Regional L&D Project Manager (6 months), Roll-out Project Manager for a Trainee Program (6 months), People Analyst (6 months), Human Resources Business Partner (12 months) – and more. Not only have they stepped into different roles, but also touched base at different locations at Roche Pharma or Diagnostics affiliates around the globe, or at Roche Headquarters in Switzerland.
