What is your role at the company?

Contract Manager

My motto is

I have two quotes: " I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." and,  "Do better if it is possible ... and it is always possible."

What is your professional career at Roche?

I joined Roche in 2008 in management control, and over the following 5 years, I have run through a bit of all the business areas within Roche Diagnostics Italy as well as activities of management reporting; in October 2013 I took up a new professional challenge, overseeing the Contracts Office.

What do you think of your experience at Roche so far?

Positive. The six years have been very intense, especially the last two, with many changes and challenges to face.

I have had the opportunity to take part in complex and challenging projects, I have gotten a lot of experience and have grown as a person and as a professional. There have been difficult moments, but overall nothing has been boring, and certainly my evaluation of the 6 years at Roche has been positive.

Worth working for Roche because of…?

The opportunity to grow in an international context; job stability; the pride in working for a leader in a key sector such as pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.

A Lonely Planet guide; a sweatshirt; and a map.

What is the value of working for a leader in biotechnology and in vitro diagnostics?

You feel you are part of the company's achievements in the medical field, and I am proud to work for a company that has people’s health as its principal goal.

What do you appreciate the most about the company?

The international atmosphere and the enthusiasm my colleagues have.

How do you find the working environment at Roche?

International and challenging; as well as really goal-oriented.

How are your colleagues?

Most colleagues are extremely skilled  in their respective field and have a great passion for their work.

What do you like most about your job?

Every day, there are new challenges and solutions to be found and problems to be solved: certainly, it is never boring.

Do you feel you have opportunities for growth and professional development?

In Roche there are always opportunities to grow and make a career, in Italy or in the international area.

What motivates me is pride, sense of duty and sense of being appreciated for my work.
