My name is Gina. I was raised in New Jersey and relocated to California for law school, where I specialized in Intellectual Property. I was admitted to the California State Bar and began working at Roche/Genentech in 2007. During my time at Roche/Genentech, I have held various roles in South San Francisco, including those of Senior Contract Manager, Chief of Staff, Global Risk Manager and Global Category Manager for Single-Use Technology. The ability to develop and evolve as an employee is one of the aspects I like most about Roche. The variety of challenges has kept me engaged and committed to continuous learning.
It was always a dream of mine to work for a company that had the power to influence the way business is done globally. Roche’s dedication to improving the lives of others inspires me to excel every day. I greatly value Roche’s commitment to responsible business practices and social, environmental and economic sustainability. This strong sense of business integrity makes Roche a rewarding workplace.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.
This quote has always captured the spirit of the company as well as my personal one. Roche has afforded me the opportunity to balance rewarding work with other activities. When not at work, I enjoy experiencing the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area and spending time with family and friends. I am proud to work for a company that puts patients first and truly values the happiness of its employees.
In Global Procurement, the work we do results in sustainable supplier partnerships, resilience of supply and, ultimately, benefit to patients.
The work I have done in Global Procurement has been stimulating and exciting. Much of my work has been centered on resilience of supply. The supply landscape is dynamic and collaboration is key to overcome obstacles and ensure successful delivery of medicines to patients. One of the most exciting qualities of Procurement is that it intersects with various Roche functions, including Quality, Technical and Regulatory. Global Procurement is also uniquely positioned between suppliers and the business. In this way, we help foster innovation and infuse the company with fresh perspectives and insights. There are so many people behind the continued supply of medicines to patients and I am honored to contribute to this value chain.

The multicultural makeup of the organization has been enlightening and I enjoy the strong sense of teamwork and community.
