Senior Engineering Project Manager
Roche Diagnostics has created a new start-up business charged with building a modern software stack that will change the way patients are cared for. Our challenge is to bring together complex diagnostic and treatment data from medical devices and IT systems within a hospital and intelligently process and present this data to doctors and care-givers to improve patient care.

The Senior Engineering Project Manager is a unique position on the engineering leadership team that will help shape how we scale engineering. Like a ‘chief of staff’, this role with work in partnership with the global engineering leadership team, leading strategic projects, managing internal and external partnerships, and driving project management best practices within engineering.
What you’ll be doing….
Strategic Planning: Leading strategic initiatives and long term planning within engineering. This includes identifying new technologies and long term initiatives, leading build/buy/partnership decisions, and managing strategic projects and partners.
Project Management: Leading day to day project management within the global engineering team, including identifying KPIs, developing reporting tools, and managing projects. Focusing on the global team and how to scale engineering to manage cross-team technical dependencies, resource trade-offs and project commitments globally.
Best Practices: Defining best practices within engineering, especially on how we scale agile and software delivery across multiple scrum teams, locations, and projects
