The Position: The Senior Project Manager is a key role on the team, with primary responsibility for leading and negotiating cross-functional project delivery. This role is ultimately accountable for delivering the product through launch, including planning and tracking, building relationships with key functional partners, ensuring delivery of our quality system deliverables, and reporting status to management. This role requires the ability to be a strong leader with the ability to influence and lead a large cross-functional project team, communicate issues, risks, and mitigations to upper management, and track projects from concept to delivery. A medical device or healthcare software background with experience working in a regulated environment is a big plus. Working efficiently within a Quality System will be a key success factor.
- Project Delivery: leading the team through delivery milestones by working with key stakeholders as well as doing hands on work to complete documentation deliverables for the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Leads cross-functional teams for new product development as well as other high priority programs. Ensures project teams achieve commercialization objectives, coordinates collaborations with partners/evaluators, facilitates communications, and develop, drive and maintain schedules for project deliverables. Leads teams and meetings, plans for short- and long-term projects, implements project plans, and provides progress reports. Works closely with Development, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Regulatory, Medical Affairs and other departments to ensure project priorities and decisions are consistent between teams and corporate strategic plans.
- Leads a cross-functional project team for complex projects at various stages of research, development and deployment through the product launch. Monitors, facilitates and prioritizes activities to meet project schedules. Activities include: communicating project status and critical path items to Sr. Management, developing and implementing timeline plans for product availability, monitoring project resources, convening periodic meetings, issuing meeting agendas and minutes, monitoring team performance goals, and assisting in resolution of problems/critical issues. Works with and leads cross-functional team consisting of 7 -20 people.
- Process Champion: working with colleagues in Quality and Regulatory to ensure the processes we use meet all quality and regulatory requirements, but also are lean and efficient for our software business
