PMO Project Manager Senior

Manages comprehensive project information to support project decision making by project teams, Life Cycle Teams (LCTs) and Life Cycle Committee (LCC) for projects with broad and large complexity and scope.  Applies advanced project management and leadership skills and experience in delivering large scale, strategic projects on time, within budget and with high customer satisfaction. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Manages comprehensive project information to support project teams, LCTs and LCC decision making while fostering executive level relationships.
  • Responsible for tactical and strategic coordination of timelines/budgets for all projects and functions within a LCT:
  • Manages execution of cross-functional plans and track of progress of activities;
  • Oversees integrated resource and budget planning;
  • Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays and challenges assumptions in areas of risk management and mitigation;
  • Oversees risk management including critical path, risk assessment, scenario creation and analysis;
  • Proposes options to close gaps and get projects back on schedule;
  • Serves as single point of control for project data (collect from functions/finance; owns version management and release of changes); and
  • Compiles and communicates project reports.
  • Guides team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency and optimization.
  • Implements / pulls in best practices to project teams; drives continuous improvement by ensuring knowledge and experience exchange.
  • Guides and manages preparation for project milestone reviews.
  • Defines, measures and reports key performance indicators for assigned projects, enabling teams and functions to measure and improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manages meetings to include setting agendas, organizing meeting time and editing meeting minutes.
  • Miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
