Financial Compliance Officer

Switzerland, Zug, Rotkreuz

Reporting to the local Head Finance, key responsibilities of this position include:

  • As local internal control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Manager, manage the design of local controls and policies together with the control responsible and perform financial entity-level controls in cooperation with the local Head Finance (e.g. Delegation of Authority Management)
  • As local Segregation of Duties (SoD) Champion, monitor SoD compliance and manage the design and operations of manual/mitigating controls
  • In connection with ICFR and SoD, liaise with internal Financial Compliance auditors and external auditors and coordinate and review respective testing and control self-assessment activities
  • In connection with Financial Audits, liaise with internal departments such as Financial Accounting, Controlling, HR, Global Operations etc and external auditors coordinate and organize the respective Audit activities
  • As local Healthcare Professional (HCP) Coordinator, monitor the HCP payment tracking process as first point of contact and perform internal and external reporting activities (e.g. MedTech Code Europe, US Sunshine Act, French Sunshine Act etc.) in cooperation with the local Compliance Specialist
  • Coordinate tasks regarding the Roche Corporate Records Management Program (COREMAP) for the local Finance department
  • On as-needed basis, perform accounting/controlling related tasks and coordinate related projects, including potential on-site visits by Roche Group Audit & Risk Advisory (GA&RA)
  • As local Financial Compliance responsible, membership and cooperation in the global Diagnostics Financial Compliance Operations Change Management Team (CMT)
