The Regional Sales Manager – North will be responsible for defending and growing the sales of our successful Pathology business. Reporting to the Business Area Manager, with five direct reports, the Regional Sales Manager’s primary responsibilities are the leadership and development of the Pathology Northern region sales team. Working through the sales team, the Regional Sales Manager’s focus is to enhance our customer relationships, assuring we are intimately aware of their current and emerging needs and position Roche products/services to satisfy those needs in a sustainable manner.
The successful candidate, working closely with our Marketing team, will set sales targets, strategies and tactics to drive sales growth in the Automation, Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Haematology & Urinalysis segments. You will manage the development of the sales team’s capabilities and initiate improvements to ensure ongoing success in selling efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, you will ensure that the team is equipped with the right skills and knowledge to achieve their targets, through training, mentoring and coaching.
The position is based in Sydney, with responsibility for NSW, QLD and WA/NT, so regular travel will be required within Australia.
