  • Manage entire product(s) lifecycle from initial voice of customer, product concept and business case, through development, launch, product care and obsolescence.

  • Champion the product and rally the cross-functional team to execute on the product vision and strategy (this team includes, but is not limited to development, medical, global customer support, operations, quality and regulatory)

  • Key message development and communication of product positioning and branding

  • Develops marketing tools and globally organized marketing activities in support of the product

  • Implements the global marketing strategy through the affiliate companies

  • Provide high-level support and guidance to the affiliate companies on product issues

  • Foster collaboration among a large matrix team

  • Identifies competitor activities and develops action to address them.

  • Adapt to fluid market dynamics and align team on product strategy and scope

  • Maintains up to date knowledge of the global market for the therapy areas (NIPT and/or oncology)

  • Oversee market research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the global market for the product area

  • Create and foster strong team spirit and motivates project team and business team

  • Prepares, implements and monitors international marketing budget

  • Takes on the role of ‘product champion'

  • Cultivates and develops Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates and speakers

  • Contributes to the International Business Team meetings (IBT)

  • A member and contributor to the Product Care and Quality Team (PCQT)

  • Assist International Business Leader with business and portfolio strategy development, including product roadmap


Education Level:  

  • Bachelor's Degree (required); Bachelor’s degree in marketing or science

  • Master’s Degree (preferred): Business (MBA) or science (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, women’s health, etc.)


  • 2 years (Required): 2 year's sales experience in the diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industry as well as product management experience. Experience should include voice of customer research and ownership of translating this to customer requirements and product scope, market landscaping and competitive intelligence, product positioning and branding, demonstrated experience of translating complex science /technology into marketing messages, creating and launching campaigns, developing and implementing sales training. Demonstrated experience managing matrix or cross-functional teams.

  • Ideally has launched products in the diagnostics space 

  • 2 years (Preferred): Budget management experience

  • 2 years (Preferred): NIPT and/or Next generation sequencing  Are equivalencies acceptable: No

Travel Requirements:

Estimated Amount: 25% Based on business need. May include conferences, customer meetings, internal training and events.
