Responsible and accountable for all infrastructure operations supporting Viewics production, development and internal systems, data centers and IT policies and procedures and ensures high quality, availability and security in the most cost effective way.

Leads and develops a team of IT professionals focusing on cloud SysOPS, data center, DevOps.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES (required):
Oversee all technology operations (AWS,Databases, Data Center, Hadoop, Spark, etc), measure and evaluate them according to established business goals
Manage all aspects of all production data centers supporting Viewics commercial products across all regions and ensure service and performance objectives are met.
Collaborate with platform engineering on product strategies to support higher scalability, security and compliance objectives.
Ensure adherence to IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Viewics management
Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and guidelines and therefore ensures successful outcome of all audits
Proactive collaboration with other departments inside and outside of Viewics to ensure effective and efficient operations
Plans, manages, organizes and develops the performance of team members in areas of infrastructure and IT operations.
Drives efficiencies by utilizing Viewics/Roche and externally available best practice processes, tools and technologies
Ensures high level of quality, availability and security in the most cost effective way
Demonstrates a “can do” attitude and agile mindset whilst adhering to processes and standards
Proactive proposal and implementation of continuous improvement processes
Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Provide Cloud Infrastructure subject matter expertise and technical leadership; lead complex System Administration tasks and IT Infrastructure projects to successful completion
Develop logical and physical infrastructure designs of infrastructure proposed solutions based on business requirements.
Proactive planning and improving the quarterly release or other upgrade processes
Oversee service desk for site IT and infrastructure issues and ensure timely resolution an provide mitigating solutions
Proactive and regular monitoring of infrastructure performance, correct any issues within reasonable time and provide mitigating solutions
Provide infrastructure services that are world-class for timeliness, flexibility, stability, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency
Owns IT Operation activities and ensures efficient functioning of all IT needs of our employees
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES (required):
Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years of experience on IT Infrastructure Operations and Support.
5 years of related experience in an equivalent leadership position in AWS Cloud/DevOps function
Ability to proactively and effectively communicate and influence stakeholders
Experience in virtual, cross functional team work
Strong customer and service management focus and mindset
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Demonstrate initiative and pro-activeness in identifying problem areas and opportunities proactively and develop and execute pragmatic plans within timelines and budget
Solid and technical hands-on experience with administrating public and private cloud systems (compute, storage, networks, security, hardware, software, etc).
