The APAC Supply Chain Transformation Lead is responsible for supporting one or more of the Supply Chain Transformation focus areas at a regional level to ensure local acceptance and delivery of the agreed scope:
Ensuring an integrated regional delivery pathway exists spanning the full scope of the transformation and that scope is delivered in an efficient (time, money and resources) way whilst ensuring the quality of the outcome.
He/She ensures that the proper mix of technical support, procurement support, guidelines, procedures, and tools are available to support the delivery of the supply chain transformation outcomes.
The role reports to local regional supply chain management and is a core member of the global supply chain transformation team aligned to the most appropriate Focus Area lead.
Supply Chain Transformation Delivery
Working with the Focus Area lead (plus sponsors) establish and manage a regional integrated program plan to ensure seamless delivery of the transformation outcomes optimizing time, money and resources
Working with the Transformation PMO, Employee engagement lead and focus area leads develop an integrated stakeholder management plan and ensure this is actioned in the most efficient way to ensure support and buy in for the planned changes
Develop and manage an integrated risk log (with the Transformation PMO) capturing and auctioning any risks/issues identified to support seamless program delivery
Ensure that defined Project Management working processes and standards are followed in the regional supply chain organization
Manage the project stakeholders:
Liaise with, and updates progress to, project SC/senior management. Informs variances from Plan and proposes corrective actions
Create Organizational Change Impact Assessment in order to define a plan to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Engage the users, and other groups as necessary, to discuss and design the changes in business processes, organizational structure or solutions
Manage the project team:
Provide leadership to the Project Team: trigger motivation, keep all team members informed, support, settle conflicts, etc.
Recruit project staff and/or consultants as agreed with the transformation team
Make sure all resources are available
Assign deliverables to Team Members
Manage the project conflicts
Manage the project scope
Sets the Scope and expectations; defines target metrics and timeframe
Establish change control procedure for changes in the project
Manage the project budget
Estimate project costs, internal and external costs, reviewing in a regular basis in order to have an accurate latest budget estimation.
Keep track of actual costs vs. planned costs and share with the transformation PMO
Work with the business on change impact assessment
Establish change plans to bring the teams on the change journey
Manage the change journey for the various stakeholders
Align on stakeholders’ expectations with regards to change
Degree in Business/Finance/Supply Chain Logistics discipline or equivalent
Experience: 6-10 years in three functions or countries
Communication: average contacts with outstanding difficulty
Self-Reliance: is responsible for setting own goals and tasks after discussions with superior Complexity Management: Expected to assume novel tasks to solve complex problems
People Management: less than 5 direct subordinates and 4-10 Staff
Result Orientation: Significant effects on the corporation as a whole or on all interests Languages: Fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English
Mobility: Ability to travel up to 25%
Certification: Desirable PMP certification
