Roche Indy offers the following internship opportunities. Below is a sample list of past summer intern projects for different business areas.

Communications

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans

  • Drive key internal and external initiatives, including Roche’s Day of Service and Children's Walk

  • Create social media content and collaborate with digital stakeholder to schedule postings and campaigns

  • Write articles and messages for internal audiences, write news releases, monitor trade media coverage and provide communications support for marketing campaigns and trade shows

Finance & Accounting

  • Develop forecasts, key performance indicators, customer service metrics, and dashboard reporting

  • Perform financial modeling of a new product launch to recommend list and contract pricing

  • Create reports and Data Visualizations within the PowerBI and Tableau tools

  • Analyze product list price strategy, marketing spend ROI, meter placement ROI, and new product distribution strategy

Legal

  • Assist the Legal Department with a wide range of important duties that are critical to delivering high-quality, proactive legal solutions to business stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Prepare documentation, create records, and assist with presentation decks 

  • Research,procure signatures, and provide reports on project status analytics and statistics to internal and external stakeholders

  • Update legal operations process documents under direction, other data entry and data maintenance duties, as required


Marketing & Sales

  • Assist with management of global rollout for new Diabetes Care products and/or regulatory requirements to ensure Roche's leadership in blood glucose monitoring

  • Map & gap of customer journeys to identify areas of opportunity and leading measurable enhancements to the customer experience to drive retention

  • Create a marketing campaign and training path to internally educate internal stakeholders on how to incorporate marketing automation into their daily marketing activities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel strategy and marketing material promoting programs, engagements, trade shows, conferences and other opportunities across Customer Experience

People & Culture (Human Resources)

  • Research and develop content for the inclusive culture strategic objective

  • Analyze adult learning methodology and technology opportunities

  • Benchmark best practices and developing tools to be used for education on D&I topics

  • Develop, plan and execute professional development workshops for Roche interns

 

Program highlights:

  • Intensive 12-week paid internship

  • Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects

  • Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry

  • Final presentations of project work to senior leaders

  • Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives

  • Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions

  • Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities

  • Paired with a 1:1 mentor through the Roche Young Professionals  Business Resource Group

  • Access to on-site fitness and wellness center (subject to change)

  • Housing provided to interns whose permanent address is 30+ miles from the site (subject to change)

  • Program start dates: May 23, 2022 or June 20, 2022

 Qualifications:

  • Targeting students currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Healthcare, Liberal Arts, Marketing, or STEM 

  • Desire GPA 3.0 or higher

  • Desire previous work experience

  • Student organization and/or study abroad experiences are a plus

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Finalist candidates must be able to virtually participate in Final Interview Day in October 27
