About P&C Technology:

In the People Insights & Technology Chapter, the People & Culture (P&C) Technology Area of Practice (AoP) will provide expertise, partnership and product ownership of our enabling technology with the vision of creating a seamless digital P&C experience to unlock greatness in our people and our organisation.  AoP members will work across the Roche enterprise to enable execution and achievement of the 10 Year Ambitions.

Position Summary:

The Product Manager for P&C ServiceNow Technology translates customer and business needs into large enterprise product solutions with ServiceNow and other supporting soltuions. Creates the vision and aligns stakeholder arounds the vision for the product.  Evangelizes the shared vision across larger teams to empower independent decision making for specific product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines a compelling vision for a product that reflects customer and business needs in line with the strategic themes for P&C Technology and aligns stakeholders around the vision for the product

  • Creates a shared vision across larger teams to empower independent decision-making

  • Provides overall product leadership and governance for the product and advocates for P&C priorities in other cross-functional decision bodies, when applicable

  • Defines the product strategy and roadmap

  • Develops the core positioning and messaging for the product

  • Deeply understands and represents customer needs and wants, using these insights to inform the vision and roadmap

  • Works with business stakeholders to maintain alignment as priorities and scope change

  • Oversees system wide releases and manages vendor relationshi

  • Deep understanding of the product’s capabilities and features as well other competitive solutions 

  • Prioritizes product features and capabilities across the solution. Final decision maker when respective Product Owners cannot align on priority, if needed

  • Collects structured feedback in collaboration with Product Owners and Adoption & Change Manager to continuously improve product quality 

  • Bridges the gap between technical team members and non-technical stakeholders by blending technical proficiency with empathy and high-level communication skills

  • Coaches and mentors other colleagues as required to continuously build capability in Product Manager/Owner community and with our supporting partners

  • Role models Creative Leadership and VACC in all interactions

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a related field such as computer science, business, or related field

  • Experience operating in a large corporate environment with strong business acumen to understand corporate business levers and the need for pragmatism

  • Experience with HR systems (Workday, Cornerstone, ServiceNow, etc.) and large scale implementations

  • Polished communicator with the ability to evangelize technology solutions to a wide range of stakeholders through visualization and storytelling

  • Valued leader, team member and effective collaborator within cross-functional squads

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and react quickly and strategically to changing priorities

  • Technical Product and/or Project Management experience

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions
