The position

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Platform Architect to join the Emerging Platforms team. Someone who influences their own development, pursues interests across functions and geographies, and understands that a job title is not the final definition of who you are, but a starting point. You are a highly motivated self-starter and curiosity is what drives you. You are a team player with critical thinking and a good communicator to various stakeholders that gets to the point quickly. You have a passion for quality, innovation and world-class software products.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing global platforms according to enterprise standards

  • Architecture review of currently existing platforms to ensure continuous improvement

  • Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new technologies and platforms to find new potentials

  • Designing non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code

  • Developing architectural strategy and roadmaps

  • Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes

We need a passionate person who has:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience (software development, integration, architecture design)

  • Hands on experience in the following areas/technologies:

    • SaaS products, platforms

    • Low code (e.g. OutSystems), no code, web/mobile application development technologies

    • DevOps tools and methodologies

    • MuleSoft or other integration API/middleware

  • Diploma/Masters degree in informatics or similar

  • Experience in agile ways of working (e.g. SAFe)

  • Experience operating in regulated environments

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire

  • Analytical, logical problem resolution skills

  • Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment

  • Ability to travel internationally as required up to 20% of the time (post-pandemic)

  • Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
