The Opportunity:

Researches and analyses the company's markets, competition and customer experience. Leads market research surveys and summarizes results. Organizes competitive analysis sources and contributes to ongoing market analysis reports. Participates in communication activities that bring visibility to insights collected from the team. 

  • Participate in team accountable for informing business decision via execution of primary market research, identification and acquisition of secondary market research, coordination of competitive intelligence and customer experience measurement

  • Work with internal stakeholders to lead the design of market research projects in accordance with stakeholder objectives

  • Mine competitive data sources and conduct competitive analysis to optimize market landscape reporting

  • Align with market research counterparts across the global organization to optimize local insights

  • Work with key vendor partners to facilitate market research projects and budgets

  • Contribute to managing the team’s toolkit of internal business partners, external vendors, and secondary data sources

  • Analyze data across the Commercial Insights team, looking for opportunities to align market insights with business analytics

  • Assist in translating insights across the team into enterprise-wide messaging that highlight learnings from the marketplace

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, market research, finance, mathematics, science, business or related field

  • 5 years progressive experience with market research methods, data analysis (quantitative and qualitative), and competitive analysis

  • MBA or equivalent work experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IVD marketplace

  • Project management skills

  • Technical proficiency and experience with CRM and EFM applications

  • Previous experience working in a marketing & sales environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
