The Opportunity

The Market Development Manager is responsible for identifying and managing opportunities to grow the Roche Information Solutions business for its respective portfolio of Digital Health Solutions.


Job Facts

This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the remit of the team as it evolves. The role of Market Development Manager will assume the role of lead Franchises in the early life cycle phase of Digital Solutions in both Provider Insights and Lab Insights. A deep understanding of the Laboratory & Healthcare provider landscape in the APAC region is critical. Experience working with Ministry of Health in the region will be a advantage. The role will require the individual to open new and existing Health and Lab market areas and form the appropriate business strategy and deliver develop the business plan for execution. 


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with visionary healthcare leaders (customers, partners, stakeholders) to transform Healthcare with early adaptors Roche Digital Business customers in the Health Information Solutions space

  • Understand and identify new markets opportunities - and develop strategies how to experiment moving the opportunity further

  • Develop business plans, the associated Business Model and Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Experimentation and identifying value proposition of the digital solution

  • Liaise with the Global Business Development / Partnering team as appropriate

  • Generate and consolidate the relevant market information


Who You Are

We are looking for a motivated, forward looking and committed person oriented towards the values of passion, integrity and courage! 


Moreover you bring:

  • Bachelors or Masters in IT, Business, Healthcare, Biotechnology 

  • Previous 10+  years similar experience in Market Development and Business value creation;

  • Comfortable working in white waters;

  • Domain knowledge (Health IT, Healthcare Transformation, Health Economics, Cloud-Based Solutions, etc.) is a must

  • Certifications in IT Cloud technologies and proficient in helping customers with their Cloud Transformation Journey 

  • Experience with C – level customer engagements and vision selling of Healthcare Digital Transformation

  • Experience working with Ministry of Health in the region will be an advantage

  • Great cross-functional capabilities.

  • Provider Insights solutions are focused on Oncology so a good understanding of Oncology specialty will  be an advantage
