The Opportunity

Lead key commercial activities on dedicated product development projects to drive customer focus throughout the development process, including but not limited to providing customer requirements, pricing strategies, affiliate preparation for launch, forecasting and commercial prioritization.

  • Lead key commercial activities on dedicated product development projects to drive customer focus throughout the development process, including but not limited to providing customer requirements, pricing strategies, affiliate preparation for launch, forecasting and commercial prioritization.

  • Own commercial success of on-market products 

  • Develop key messages and communication of product positioning and branding

  • Develop marketing tools and globally organized marketing activities in support of both products in development and the on-market portfolio 

  • Identify and monitor competitor activities, threats and opportunities and develop actions to address them

  • Implement the global marketing strategy in collaboration with the regional affiliates

  • Provide substantial technical commercial support and guidance to the affiliate companies on the product portfolio and customer interactions as needed.  

  • Drive and coordinate development of marketing tools and activities (e.g. brochures, training manuals, slide decks, internet/intranet sites and other e-media, branding guidelines, congress stand designs, satellite symposia, posters, give-aways, stand alone meetings).

  • Drive and coordinate branding development/evolution process.

  • Plan and contribute to the International Business Team meetings (IBT)

  • Contribute commercial ideas into planning for MSA activities including Investigator Initiated Studies

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the global market for the appropriate market segments

  • Initiate appropriate market research

  • Cultivate and develop Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates and speakers through affiliate interaction and alignment

  • Lead partnership activities with early users and collaborators on scientific, technical and clinical areas of interest

  • Prepare, implement and monitor international marketing budget specific to products and project responsibilities

  • Create and foster a strong team spirit and take on the role of ‘product champion'.

  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Lead initiatives across multiple products, possibly involving multiple international product managers

  • Develop strategies to differentiate the product portfolio and address competitor activities with strategic initiatives

  • Supervise the implementation of the global marketing strategy in collaboration with the regional affiliates

  • Oversee agency selection, branding management (eg branding guidelines, promotional items and materials), budget decisions, event management, clear positioning

  • Assist International Business Leader with business strategy, positioning, branding guideline, and core messages across the entire portfolio

Who You Are

  • 5 years sales or marketing experience in the diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industry and/or country-level or global product management experience preferred

  • Experience in interacting with KOL in the medical field preferred

  • NGS experience and understanding of laboratory needs required

  • Product positioning and branding, demonstrated experience of translating science into marketing messages; managed branding, medical education and PR/Communication agencies preferred

  • Technical and/or clinical expertise in End-To-End lab workflows and NGS data management to allow for technical and commercial input into our product development projects and the launch of products required

  • Product development experience required

  • Budget management experience preferred

  • Has launched multiple products
