This is why we are looking for a candidate to support the role of Medical Scientific Affairs Manager based in Athens and report directly to the Head of Medical Scientific Affairs & Healthcare Development in Diagnostics Division.


  • Ability to lead all Medical Affairs activities (e.g. Medical Plan, Medical budget, KOL engagement plan, strategy and tactics, Medical Information Management)
  • Performing measurable medical performance activities (e.g., number and reach of scientific publications, percentage of invitations to scientific programs accepted)
  • Developing and executing medical objectives, strategies and scientific approach
  • Designing and delivering disease and product trainings for customers and marketing, sales and other departments
  • Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with national level key opinion leaders in assigned disease areas of responsibility (clinical conferences)
  • Networking within the affiliate as well as the wider Roche communities to co-create solutions to have an impact on our customers and play a role in elevating the local healthcare eco-system
  • Strong presence in scientific congresses and symposia

Who you are

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following requirements:

  • MD Degree or/and PhD
  • Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in Diagnostics division in the areas of Cardiology and Oncology
  • Experience in delivering high quality scientific presentations and/or reviewing product specific abstracts, publications, and supports the development of presentations for scientific meetings
  • Involvement in developing and implementing clinical trials
  • Highly organized and able to work under tight timelines
  • Exposure to a highly matrixed environment would be considered as an asset
  • Inspiring visionary with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Thorough knowledge of English language (verbal & written skills) and solid presentation skills
