We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical professional with the special ability to blend business acumen and technical skills; you understand not only the aspects, goals and priorities of Pharmaceutical Regulatory operations but also those of IT.
You have learned this through extensive exposure and interaction at many levels and in differing initiatives within the Life Science Industry, particularly in Clinical Development and/or Regulatory. In those endeavors your role has been to educate, translate, communicate and negotiate between business and IT organizations with the goal of designing process & data solutions that deliver value to the Patients.
You are well-versed in new and emerging technologies and understand the impact it has on business models & operational processes.
You are used to using data in building business context and understand how data insight and analytics are critical in enabling quality and speed.
In this role you are accountable for the success of initiatives throughout the development lifecycle in the Global Technical Regulatory portfolio. Your key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the strategy and roadmap for information systems in PTR, with the focus on business-enabling, value adding designs Lead the successful introduction of new technology and/or processes
Identify, acquire, and lead cross-site-, multi-functional business teams for requirements gathering, user testing and support of solution implementation including associated training needs
Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of business - technical projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk
Establish effective partnerships and leadership with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and partners

You have the experience outlined above and very strong leadership capabilities and you enjoy and are comfortable with managing multiple initiatives in a complex Pharmaceutical Regulatory environment? Then this position is a good fit for you!
Moreover, you have the following qualifications:
Degree in Management Information Systems, Life Sciences, Business or equivalent
10+ years of experience as a successful leader as a Business Process or Data Analyst in the Pharmaceutical Development and/or Regulatory area
Shown ability to obtain results in a global environment handling complexity and risks in alignment with business priorities
Deep understanding of various organizational and application development methodologies, such as LEAN, AGILE, etc.
Exceptional listening, problem solving, facilitation and relationship building skills
This position requires international travel up to 20%.
This role can be located in Basel or one of the European Roche-affiliates.
