Internship Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university during internship calendar year 2021

  • Minimum availability of 6 months, ideally 12 months

  • Given the current uncertainty of the global pandemic and work from home situation for 2021, the internship is currently planned to be virtual with the option to work remotely.

  

Responsibilities

As the Market Access Intern, you will contribute to our strategy related to oncology. 

  • Organise, cross-functional access strategy workshop to:
    - Develop access plan
    -
    Support project execution

  • Methods and key deliverables: 
    - Review fact-base, trends
    - Collect key stakeholders
    - Summarise, rank access gaps
    - Turn gaps into objectives
    -
    Break down objectives into actions, resources, timelines

  • Collect Belgian data for the Budget Impact Model/ cost effectiveness model(s)

  • Identify data sources; e.g. literature, institutions, databases

  • Conceptualise Health economic model 

  • Organise and accurately report the collected data

  • Construction/adaptation of global value dossier

Qualifications

  • Health economics (or related specialisation); and one of the following backgrounds: Oncology, Biochemistry, Biology, genetics, Scientific

  • Preferred PhD candidate

  • Strategic mindset

  • Able to work independently on own initiative

  • Analytical skills to critically assess and interpret sources and data

  • Familiar with the Belgian healthcare system and institutions is an asset

  • Experience in collecting cost data and conducting literature reviews would be an asset, but not mandatory

  • Fluent in English and Flemish or French
