IT Delivery Manager (Vendor Management)

Years of relevant working experience

At least 8  years of experience in IT including 4 years in Vendor Management or Procurement

Academic Requirement

Degree/Masters in Information Technology or equivalent

We need IT Delivery Manager (Vendor Management) who has:

  • At least 8  years of experience in IT including 4 years in Vendor Management or Procurement;

  • Strong project and process management skills with the ability to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts as well as a wide range of tasks;

  • Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and traditional and emerging contract and vendor performance models;

  • Ability to understand contract risks and to work with other parts of the organization crafting tactics and strategies for risk mitigation;

  • Ability to inspire and partner with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization in a global, highly cross-functional and matrix environment;

  • Self-directed, resourceful, and adept working in ambiguous environments;

  • Global experience preferred / collaborating with remote teams such as shared services and offshore models.

Let’s find out what a typical day of work might look like. You will be:

  • Managing the on-going business relationship with IT Vendors;

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for vendor contract-related issues;

  • Performing periodic audits to ensure the vendor is charging negotiated contract prices;

  • Conducting internal surveys to measure satisfaction with vendor service levels;

  • Monitor vendor performance, intervening when performance falls below an acceptable threshold;

  • Working with vendors to identify/implement process improvement;

  • Performing market analysis to ensure the vendor is providing the best overall value;

  • Delivering periodic analysis and reports for internal stakeholders;

  • Track and report on vendor financials, risk, compliance and performance

  • Develops vendor performance goals and incorporate into contracts;

  • Research, identify and implement best-practice methodologies to extract value from strategic vendors;

  • Provide educational resources for internal staff members;

  • Establish internal and external processes and policies for Vendor Management
