The Transformation Lead will play a key role in the RDC Finance Transformation and  is primarily responsible for supporting the organization’s transformation by creating and implementing the implementation plan for the organization, including the agile plan for embedding agile mindsets and behaviors into the organization.  The Transformation Lead will also be responsible for guiding and influencing employees across the RDC Finance organization to adopt the new and more agile ways of working, while monitoring value realization of the transformation efforts.  This includes driving strategic transformation work, training efforts, and enabling the teams to adapt rapidly to the changing environment.  This person will work with the executive level and project team level to create strategy, roadmap, processes, structures, guidelines, and communities of practice.  

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The Opportunity: 

Strategy

● Support the Head of the Region, Head of Center of Excellence, and the Regional Lead Team, in driving the development and implementation of the overall transformation strategic plan  while monitoring and providing feedback on the value of outputs through appropriate measurements
● Lead and integrate the principles of agile ways of working throughout the RDC Finance organization by providing relevant coaching, training, guidance, and expectation setting to encourage and live the new behaviors
● Influence and guide business leaders, organization, and employees during the transformation journey to facilitate change adoption, capabilities creation, and goals achievement
● Build trust-based relationships with leaders and their enabling teams to deepen their understanding of the required mindset and behavioral shifts required to build the desired culture and to accelerate change
● Lead the process of identifying opportunities for greater flexibility and operating efficiency across the organization, and enable teams to clear transition roadblocks
● Ensure appropriate processes and compliance frameworks are sustainably implemented in an efficient manner to enable delivery to overall transformation vision
● Develop and implement cross-regional initiatives and events in line with agreed timelines and in support of the overall transformation’s strategic plan
● Coach the organization on the agile framework and scrum methodology
● Oversee any third party agile engagements to ensure goals are met
● Align all transformation efforts and organizational development with other regions and global stakeholders
● Create strategies and frameworks to increase collaboration across teams including forums and vehicles for teams to share information and best practices
● May be dedicated to squads to run sprints and help them to understand the framework, process, and tools to optimize outputs

Leading

● Live and role model our new leadership framework including Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach to lead the transformation
● Design transformation roadmap & milestones and track progress on transformation journey
● Coach teams to deliver on transformation project deliverables
● Create a flexible pool of resources within the transformation team and across the broader global Roche network to increase the quality, impact, and breadth of transformation
● Connect with other global initiatives and other sites to bring and incorporate best practices
● Ensure effective coaching, mentoring, and change management practices are in place to support employee development through the transition
● Enhance the Creative Leadership concept 

Who you are: 

● University degree in a business field, preferably Accounting or Finance.  .
● 10+ years of experience working with a large, complex industry in business performing one or more of the following: 
● Leading and implementing large, complex, cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives
● Developing and implementing vision and strategy
● Coaching others, translating mindset shift into action, and fostering experimentation through empowerment using agile methodologies
● Challenging the status quo, driving innovation solutions, and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams 
● Communicating, influencing, challenging and strategizing with all levels of the organization 
● Guiding employee development and engagement  and applying the creative and new ways of working
● Ability to tackle and lead in ambiguous situations; highly flexible with proven ability to adhere to challenging deadlines while delivering high-quality work 
● Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to transform analysis, concepts, and ideas into convincing communication with the ability to simplify and condense complex topics
● Adaptable and resilient, with a growth and continuous learning mindset

Preferred

● Certified Change Management Practitioner, an advantage
● Certified Scrum Master designation, an advantage
● Project Management Professional, an advantage
● Experience in a global organization
