As the Senior Procurement Category Project Specialist People&Culture, you are responsible globally for delivering high-value strategic projects in the P&C space, according to the Chapters Strategies, Business needs, and annual pipeline of initiatives.
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and completion of various types of projects like global/regional supplier base rationalization, contract negotiation, Supplier Relationship Management process optimization, Vendor Management System implementation, process improvement, and stakeholder training.
You will be executing these assigned procurement projects using robust project governance and management, stakeholder engagement, and Roche’s category and supplier management approach.
At least 3 years in the procurement (preferably in the HR area)
Experience in Project Management
Negotiating and influencing skills
Executing complex category strategy projects, or high-value sourcing initiatives assigned by Category Management teams to deliver in line with agreed targets.
Managing Project teams for specific projects, ensuring completion of agreed deliverables and quality of customer service.
Establishing effective project governance by ensuring a robust project structure with clear roles and responsibilities.
Monitoring and mitigating risks by overseeing the progress of projects and pro-actively identifying and reporting any projected risks, resolving issues on a timely basis, and escalating them where appropriate.
Ensuring a smooth and efficient handover to other capability groups, including converting project outcomes into useable category buying guides or other content.
