Key Activities / Deliverables

  • Plan and execute local long and short term marketing strategy to ensure market penetration and growth, in line with local market conditions and  global product priorities by maintain close liaison with key opinion leaders and maintain a high level of market intelligence
  • Ensure the availability and requirement are met of relevant marketing materials to support the planned business activities such as packaging, local registration, performance and evaluation, and also Ensure product training is available to staff and relevant Distributor personnel.
  • Work with Marketing Manager; Product Executives; Area Managers; Regional Sales Managers; Sales Managers; Key Account Managers and other Marketing Managers, also maintain relationships and negotiation with Key Accounts.
  • Responsible to plan and propose financial targets and product sales growth projections for business planning processes and assign portfolio targets to Product Managers
  • Responsible in pricing role, including Recommend competitive and profitable local NSP and end-market pricing to Distributors, Liaise with RD International to propose AUP and transfer pricing, and Communicate pricing changes to all customers and distributors
  • Supervise, manage and lead staff as per their job descriptions. Bear ultimate responsibility for their job performance (develop competencies, encourage and monitoring, ensure staff’s is sufficiently trained)
  • Manage Inventory requirement to comply with RD global logistics forecasting requirements, in consultation with RDI staff and distributors
  • Develop and maintain contacts within RD global, RDAP and Asia Pacific countries
  • Carry out special projects when required from time to time


  • Bachelor/Master degree from reputable university preferably majoring in Life Sciences
  • Possess strong marketing or product management concept, particularly in diagnostic industry
  • Able to converse and write in English
  • Computer skill


  • Minimum of five years similar marketing experience required (same role) in diagnostics company
  • Show good track records in marketing programs
  • Able to manage a team from small to medium size
