Roche Pharma Thailand is a fully fledged Country Organisation of Roche Pharmaceuticals with a headcount of approx. 160 people and headed up by a General Manager. The affiliate went on a journey of transformation since mid 2019 and can now be described as an agile organisation, with a growth mindset, enabling its people to be more empowered and creative and putting the customer (patient) at the centre of all they do.  Thailand is an important market with a huge unmet need for patients. The Vision of Roche Pharma Thailand is ‘@ Roche, we are proud to enable 30,000 more personalized treatments and solutions to patients by supporting equity in the healthcare system and therefore delivering better lives for patients & their families’.

As the People & Culture Director for Roche Pharma Thailand  you will be:

  • a credible business partner to the General Manager and the Leadership Team (Enabling Team), 

  • a visionary, architect, coach and catalyst to the organisation 

  • a business leader with people & culture expertise  

  • a key enabler of the transformation journey the affiliate has embarked on

Other aspects of the role are:

  • Through an honest, authentic and open dialogue at all levels, you will unlock the greatness in all our people and organization. 

  • You will be a key driver to build an environment where people can bring their best selves to work and make immenses impact on patients and the society as a whole.

  • You will also be the frontline leader to achieve our People outcome:  “I AM PROUD’ to be @ Roche because we are awesome for patients”.

  • You will sit on the country’s leadership team (enabling team) and represent primarily the people and culture topics but never losing sight of the overall business goals

  • You will be challenged to partner with external stakeholders and co-create for business impact, enhancing our corporate reputation and improving our employer branding.

  • The position leads and enables a very passionate team of 4 HR professionals and reports to the General Manager. 


Who you are:

  • A person who takes genuine interest in people and creates real  connections with the people that surround you.

  • A human being who thrives in accomplishing extraordinary results for patients with others.

  • Someone with a deep knowledge of agile organization and agile leadership

  • You have a university degree, solid HR experience in an international business environment and lead or have led a team of HR specialists. 

  • You have the curiosity and willingness to shape HR and with that you are bold, courageous and are ready to just do it!

  • Fluency in English is a must
